Airport
Attendees can fly into Calgary International Airport (YYC), which is about 12 miles/20 km east of the University of Calgary campus and takes approximately 35-40 minutes by car. There are multiple modes of public transportation from the airport to the University of Calgary.
Bus
Bus lines running from YYC can be found here.
- Via Domestic Flights
- To board the bus at the Domestic Terminal: exit Door 7 on the Arrivals level. Cross the roadway at Door 2 and walk towards Pillar 7.
- Via International Flights
- To board the bus from the International Terminal: exit Door 15 on the Arrivals level. Cross the roadway and stand at Pillar 32.

Taxi Services
A taxi stand is located outside of Doors 1, 9 and 15 on the Arrivals level. Fares are based on meter rates. Under normal driving conditions, the approximate fare to downtown Calgary is between CAD$40 and CAD$45. These are the recommended taxi companies listed on the YYC website:

Do not make use of unlicensed taxis if you would like a safe, hassle-free trip. Official drivers do not stand inside the terminal nor ask if you need a cab.
Ride Shares
A number of transportation services, including private car services and app-based ride services such as Uber and Lyft are available at YYC.
Attendees can meet their ride-share drivers at the Arrivals level curbside in the designated pickup locations by Doors 3, 12 and 15 or on the Departures level Doors 5 and 11.
Rental Cars
Car rentals at YYC are located at the Car Rental Centre on the Departures level across the roadway from the Domestic Terminal. It can also be accessed by the elevator lobby across the Arrivals roadway. The list of rental car rental companies can be viewed here.
